Well, apparently they turned out fantastic. But possible soggy.
I don’t eat spicy stuff, so I really have no clue. They were super easy to make, but do much better for “ready now” and become soggy with time and canning.
So the next batch will have to be done a little differently, and not brought to a second boil.
Of course, I havent eaten them, so I don’t know!

So we got the recipe from http://www.simplyscratch.com/2013/05/easy-homemade-pickled-jalapenos.html. The flavor is right on the mark. Delicious! The only downside is the current recipe isn\’t suitable for canning. To eat immediately YES YES YES! We\’re going to modify it a little this afternoon and see if we can get the same results flavor wise in a way acceptable to canning. We\’ll let you know the results asap!
